Rain in the Ranch
Seems like rain is the only thing that gets me to post these days. Ah, well, as of 9:30am this morning we have had 1.38 inches of rain at the gauge at the office since the storm started yesterday.

The storm Friday, and just a touch after midnight amounted to .73 inches of rain. And 22 inches of snow at Sunrise! I don't get excited about skiing, but that means water for the valley this spring. Yay!
This has been quite a storm. Saturday produced 1.34 inches of rain. Not much since then but as of noon on Monday we are at 1.49 inches. Turn off those sprinklers!
Here is a shot of the Superstition Mountains beyond Elliot Groves. It was really clear yesterday. A little breeze and low holiday traffic really clear up the air. It pains me to report that I remember as a kid that "the Supes" were that clear every day. Now it is a special gift when it happens. But...it IS a special gift. Beautiful.
After my last post about rain by last Friday noon, we got another .61 inches. The storm last night dropped only .07 inches. But it is still muddy out there!
