More on the Riparian Preserve

So, here are a couple of pictures to show you what I was talking about.

The Riparian Preserve

Lots of people know there is a Riparian Preserve behind the Gilbert Library. Some people know there is a pedestrian bridge across the canal under the power lines that lets folks from Morrison Ranch and the area go straight into the back of the preserve. But I didn't know how nice that area has become.

First, it is not manicured. It is much more natural. But the trees have now got some nice size, and the area is softened by the bushes. I have started riding my bike more, and spend part of my time riding through there. I like it a lot. Give it a try for an early morning walk or bike ride.
