Mulch your Christmas Trees

The Town of Gilbert is taking Christmas trees at Nichols Park and mulching them for use across the town. That park is just "behind" the Walgreens at Higley and Guadalupe. You enter off of Higley, and there is probably a big pile of trees these days.

Luminarias - we did it

This is what we had on our street last night. Great fun. Participation was affected by the reschedule due to the rain. Let's hope we can do it again next year.

.35 inches from Monday through Tuesday morning. It is adding up! More important to our water supply is the abundance of snow in the high country.

Due to the rain that is falling now, a last minute decision to reschedule to tomorrow night.

Luminarias in Higley Groves West tonight. If you live there you should have received a package of bags and candles in the last two days. Tonight is the night.

Rain in the Ranch

Tuesday ended up with .69 inches. Wow. Since then we have had just .18 inches more. So all told for the week, we are still under an inch, but not by much. We are standing by to report new totals!

I know, I know, it is still raining. But I found it surprising that as of 1pm, today, Tuesday, we were only at .09 inches through the last three days of drizzle. More than that by now, but not as much as I thought.
