Green Pools

OK, this is not a green pool in Morrison Ranch. But you get the idea. We don't have many foreclosed or abandoned houses in Morrison Ranch, but we have a few. If there is a pool, it is going to look like this pretty quickly. This article explains what is up, and gives the number for County Vector Control. They are the people who can go onto someone elses property and deal with it, after a notification process. There is very little the association can do. So give them a call if you are aware of this problem.

New Restaurants!

This article might be interesting! New restaurants just over at SanTan Village. We like Cantina Loredo, but variety is nice.

OK. That's hot. Some of us are heading to the mountains next week. I'll bet lots of folks beat us to it. And the coast. OK. We will have a Gilbert reunion in ShowLow the end of next week. Or something like that. In the meantime, I was riding my motorcycle the other evening, and came down Higley to Park and turned right. The temperature dropped immediately, so that I really noticed. That's what grass and trees do to fight the heat island effect.
