Yes, we had Rain in the Ranch

The number I have is 1.15 inches at our dairy just to the east of Power Road, from Saturday until it stopped raining. So you can certainly turn off those yard sprinklers for a week.

I have another number - 79

As in, the Salt and Verde Lake system is at 79% of capacity. That is up 8% is a couple of days and up from 61% as of last year at this time. So water for the valley is in good shape for now. More than that, I was in the Rim country this last weekend, and there is enough snow there that I am convinced we are going to go to 100% and they will be letting water down the Salt River through town for a while.

So what does a person do with a river that has water in it?
